Nicole
Gardiner RD, MHE, Director, Vision
Food Systems Inc. With a Master’s degree
in Human Ecology and certification as a
Servsafe® Food Protection Instructor and
HACCP Coordinator, Nicole Gardiner has a
reputation as a specialist in safety-focused food
delivery systems and related staff
training.
During her years with SERCA
Foodservice, she managed the development and
implementation of a HACCP program for seven
distribution warehouses, providing related
training to both staff and clients.
Nicole
has completed research in the areas of Menu
Engineering and Healthcare Foodservice
Procurement. She has been a speaker during the
2003 national conference of the Canadian
Association of Foodservice Professionals and the
TrainCan Food Safety Forum 2004. More recently she
has been awarded the ‘2004 Food Executive of the
Year’ for Atlantic Canada by the Canadian
Association of Food Service
Professionals.
At Vision Food Systems,
Nicole works to address the needs of the
foodservice industry in the areas of effective and
efficient food equipment implementation and meal
delivery system development. Combining food safety
program development and personnel training
experience with her background as a clinical
dietitian, Nicole applies the principles of
critical thinking to your business development and
management needs.
Currently Nicole serves as CAFP Halifax Dartmouth Branch President.

E. S. (Ted)
Mussett BSc, Director, Vision Food
systems Inc. Ted began his career in the
food service industry in the 1970’s. An
entrepreneur since 1984, he has earned a
reputation for client- focused service,
outstanding representation and a dedication to the
industry overall.
His background includes
foodservice operations management, franchise
ownership and administration, and manufacturers’
representation, all combining to offer a wealth of
expertise to the food service industry in needs
evaluation and food delivery system. Ted formed
his own agency, E. S. Mussett & Associates, in
1992, focussing on concept design and
implementation and food equipment manufacturer
representation.
With the development of
increasingly sophisticated food delivery systems,
and more and more innovative food service
equipment, he saw a need for even more
comprehensive industry support. In the spring of
2001 Ted, formed Vision Food Systems Inc. in
partnership with colleague Nicole
Gardiner.
Building on his skill to segment
complex operations into their integrated
components, Ted works continuously to identify and
facilitate the implementation of effective and
efficient food service equipment to best service
the needs of Vision’s clients.
For many
years Ted was an active participant of Canadian
Association of Food Service Professionals (CAFP)
at a national level holding numerous board
positions. In 2002, Ted was awarded “Food
Executive of the Year” for Halifax.
